Pins Pins Everywhere

Here’s what I’ve been pinning lately.

Haba brand toys from naturalbabyco.com are absolutely beautiful, clever and environmentally-conscious. My toy philosophy is simple: fewer and better quality trumps cheap quantity.

Handmade toys naturally fit the bill!

For when Del’s a little older. I love the idea of making his drawings into small stuffed pillows!

When the time comes for Del to have his own room, cubbies like these will look great and hopefully help us stay tidy.

I also think this would be really cute in a little boy’s room!

Nice touch for the bathroom – it both provides a place for bath toys AND limits you to what will fit in this space. We all need boundaries.

What are you pinning lately?

A tour of my “Woah Baby” board on Pinterest

If you don’t already know what Pinterest is, get on that.

Here’s a glimpse of some of my pins in my “Woah Baby” board:

These are adorable - would be fun to thrift shop some t-shirts and make a few.

Another thing I'd like to try to make, for use as a nursing cover.

ahhhh

An etsy print I'd love to add to the yellow/gray/white scheme of the bedroom.

Very cute drying rack that would be handy for drying cloth diapers.

Still hunting for baskets like these - but cool, right?

LOVE this - visit their site, they have great stuff!

Happy Weekend, everyone!

Step one in attempting to make crib sheets

Here are the fabrics I ordered to make crib sheets. Note: our bedroom walls are gray, sheets and curtains are white, and most of the furniture is dark wood. Baby crib is gray.

Fabrics ordered from fabric.com

I’m using yellow as the kind of “nursery” color – but choosing things that still look like adults live in the bedroom. Babies don’t care. I also ordered this print to hang over our bed, just to share the yellow around the room a little:

Oh, Etsy, you've done it again!

Once it’s more together, I’ll take pictures of the whole room! If you’re on Pinterest, follow my Woah Baby board to see more of my baby-related ideas.
